April PRMcares Service Project
“BAGEL DROP”
Reduce food waste, feed the hungry, and do the right thing!
April is National Volunteer Month! This month PRMcares is helping a Park Road Montessori parent with an existing ongoing program called Bagel Drop. Jill Goodrich has been administering this program for the past couple of years. She approached PRMcares to host this as one of our events and we think it is a great opportunity!
Being that April is National Volunteer Month we are aiming to help get extra bagels to shelters, food pantries and such places in need each day in April! There are 2 pick up locations and specific drop off locations each day. The goal is to make 2 drops a day for the entire month of April – that means 60+ huge bags of bagels kept out of dumpsters and in the food pantries of local shelters and like organizations.
To reach our goal it is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
*Detailed instructions for the program are listed online.
The drop sites are provided for the volunteers. If you know of another organization or location that could benefit from this program please email Jill Goodrich directly so she can make contact with them: jill.goodrich@gmail.com.

Ladies,
This looks great!!! Thanks! One correction… If it is resent and for posting on the PRMCares web site…The two pick up locations are Dilworth (or you can say Southend, but not Southpark) and Ballantyne.
Thanks! Ciao Jill

Sorry, Jill! Updated on site, but not on email going out. I hope the more specific details on the sign up will clear up any issues.
